An additional opportunity to secure one of the remaining 2,500 Fine Fillies is available via a public Fair Launch Protocol mint.

The mint price will be determined from the median bid in a range from a minimum of 0.5 SOL up to 75% of the floor price of the Fillies (25% discount to market prices) 24 hours prior to the auction. The max bid of the FLP range will be capped at 7 SOL, regardless of the Fillies floor price.

How does breeding work?

Phase 3 of our roadmap (date TBA) enables "breeding" a Fine Filly with a Stylish Stud on our website. This process will produce a "Generation 0" Racehorse - a living NFT that will be available to race in PVP events and earn money while doing so! View Whitepaper

Won't this cause a surge in supply?

Once "bred" with a Stylish Stud on our website, the Fine Filly can never be bred with again, with this data locked into the blockchain. This means that there will only ever be 5,000 "Generation Zero" race horses, and the only way they can be minted is by breeding a Stylish Stud with a Fine Filly.

Once the race horses are released, what about the Studs & Fillies?

The Stylish Studs and Fine Fillies will always be the VIP pass for players in the game. Being a VIP means early access to presales and Discord channels (via GRAPE protocol), as well as exclusive items and airdrops in the game. Details are available on pages 11 and 12 of the released roadmap

Does the rarity of my Stylish Stud / Fine Filly matter?

You'll want to pay attention to the traits on your Fillies and Studs before the breeding step. Rare traits on either Stud or Filly and/or perfect alignment of certain traits shared between the Stud & Filly will have a much higher chance of producing a more rare (and stronger) NFT Racehorse.
We are excited at this opportunity for holders of lower ranked Studs to create more rare offspring due to smart selection of a Filly. Even traits that could be perceived as “common” can be useful when paired with the right partner, a tenet of real life horse breeding!

How will I know what to breed?

Charts and descriptions will be provided to show how these rarities work together well before breeding is enabled. This way players won’t feel like it’s a random dice roll, as it won’t be!     MORE INFO FROM THE TEAM:

  1. We are so happy that all of you have decided to join us on this journey! There is a lot of information to sort through, so we wanted to try and explain as much as we could here in one place...
  2. Our primary product in development is a horse racing 'metaverse' where players can buy, sell, and breed their horses with each other. You'll be able to win money via prize pools with your horses as well as wager on races as a spectator (assuming your territory legally permits it). There are more details on our Photo Finish Horse Racing site.
  3. Our company has built both an in-depth horse racing simulation and authentic breeding engine over the past 5 years. Both of these will live at the heart of the upcoming metaverse.
  4. The Stylish Studs were our very first foray into building 'on chain'. We tried multiple blockchains, and settled on Solana due to the speed and lack of gas fees. The Stylish Studs were a way for us to learn the tech as well as raise capital to grow our team to 15+ (from 6 today).
  5. The Fine Fillies are similarly a stepping stone for us, figuring out strengths and weaknesses of the Solana chain and handling a complex part of our existing technology; the breeding. Creating another set of PFP's that unlocked the 'real' Generation 0 race horses in the game was a way for us to dip our toes into breeding contracts before building a more complex version using genetics in the game.
  6. We continue to research exciting opportunities like revenue sharing, DAO's, partnerships, exchanges, and more, but we are not ready to announce anything new at this time. We feel it is better to stay transparent and true to what is currently being actively worked on, rather than promise something on the roadmap that we are not yet committed to. Our decades in game development have trained us to under-promise and over-deliver, rather than the other way around.
